Established in 1975, in Miami, Florida, Gilbride, & Heller, P.A. was formed by partners James F. Gilbride and Lawrence R. Heller. Shortly thereafter, Lewis N. Brown joined the firm, and it became known as Gilbride, Heller & Brown, P.A. Over the past 30 years, the firm has become renowned for providing the highest caliber of litigation services, professionalism and expertise. In doing so, Gilbride, Heller & Brown, P.A., has achieved state and federal recognition as one of the nation's most respected law firms. Gilbride, Heller & Brown, P.A., has earned significant victories for its clients and established legal principles and precedents, paving the way for other courts in interpreting complex litigation issues. One of these cases was the $15 million Southeast Bank verdict, the largest lender liability award in the state of Florida at the time. It caused a change in procedures and the way in which lenders do business throughout the entire state since the late 1980s.
